DB Examples


	See some examples of different types of database created with Tree-Base Generator. The databases below are samples only. The databases can contains some incorrect data but the sense is not show the data but what database you can create with the TBG.

Presidents of the United States	Database example with basic data about all Presidents of the United States. Visitors can search for the occupation, religion, day and place of birth, presidetial salary and more. The records can be sorted by name, order, political party etc.	Normal	The visitor can search in the database only. It’s typical free access database with images.	English

The Solarsystem	Database with basic informations about our solar system with images. Images are shown as tumbniles. The size of the tumbniles is defined in the TBG Settings. After click on the image the original size of the picture appears in new window.	Normal	Not all information are shown on the first site. For more details the visitor have to click on the record number (left) to see all information in the record.	English
Abbreviation in different outlook	The same database uploaded with different css file to see, how the design can be changed very easy.	Normal		English
Suppliers	This example show database where suppliers can offer products to importers. The advantage is the standard form for all suppliers and direct access to the database so the importer don’t need enter data to the database. The same data can be offered to the customers, the importer can change the price only.	Login	The supplier can see or modify his own records (Product specifications) only. The administrator must create a account for him.	English
Railroad Modells	Small Database usable as shop. Field - Order - can be used as link to order from.	Normal	User can search for a type or price of a modell.	German
Real Estate	Create Database as Broker or for brokers. Database can be used as “Pay For Entry” where visitors looking for a Real estate can find what they looking for and sellers or brokers can enter data and description of property thay want to sale.	Login	The Owner of the Database will create a account for the seller (after payment of the fee) and the system will send Password to him.	English

Click on the Database name to go to the database. The “Language” means that for example navigation bar, buttons etc. could be created in different languages.

Modes:

Normal Mode - Visitors of the database can search in the database only. They can not add or modify records in the database. This can do only the administrator after entering the administrators password.
Join Mode - Visitors can add, modify or delete their own record. In Menu part (on top of the db site) appears Add record and Modify record. When the visistor clicks on this link, a login form appears. The visitor must enter his real e-mail address and a password. The password can be created free. When the visitor want modify or delete his record, this is possible only after entering the Email Address and the password.
Login Mode - Only members have access to the database. Who is a member and who not decides the administrator. Administrator need to create a members account (in the Admin site) where he enter Email Address of the member and set a password for him. This can be attractive by commertial databases where the member pays for th access to the database. After payment can the administrator send ¨a Email with the logins to the member. There is possible set the database so that members can sse all records in the database or their own records only.
